L.A.B Quality Machining, Inc. has been owned and operated by James and Linda Brath since 1985.
The number of employees is currently eleven. The shop is 5,000 square feet. The owner, James Brath, started out working at Cincinnati Milacron, and then went on to Lehr Precision Tool, where he was a machinist, toolmaker and Conventional Machining Superintendent for fifteen years. He left this position to start his own company.
L.A.B. does CNC turning, CNC vertical and horizontal tool change machining, with 4 position 4th axis (tombstone engraving available). We also have manual and N.C. machines, in-house cutter grinding, surface grinding, jig grinding and O.D. grinding.
Our capabilities include production machining, tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, prototypes, exotic shape programming and machining.
Jim Brath is available to come to your facility to review problems and help with solutions if you are within 100 miles from L.A.B. We can make and ship your product anywhere. We take pride in doing quality work. Our in-house quality control is based on the AISI. All measuring instruments are calibrated at regular intervals. We do stand behind our work.
